Product Introduction:
Pearlitic Nodular Cast Iron Rings Ductile iron with more than 80% pearlite in the matrix organisation. This type of ductile iron is usually obtained by normalising, but can also be used to add alloying elements and with the process measures to obtain. Mainly used in the manufacture of high strength requirements, with a certain fatigue strength and wear resistance of the parts.
Pearlitic Nodular Cast Iron Rings are composed by nodular graphite and carbides arranged in a pearlitic matrix. It's properties are similar to Indefinite Chill except that the graphite structure is changed from flake to spheroidal forms.
Pearlitic Nodular Cast Iron Rings will have higher strength than Indefinite Chill. Pearlitic Nodular Cast Iron Rings can be produced by static casting (Monoblock) or by using the centrifugal cast (CC) Double-pour method.
