However, this initial higher cost can be offset by its durability and lower maintenance needs since it does not require frequent replacement or treatment against rust.

High Speed Steel: Although HSS tools are initially more costly than those made from simpler steels like carbon steel due to their sophisticated alloy content designed for high performance under stress; they offer a good return on investment considering their longevity in high-temperature conditions where other materials might fail.
